The Department of Hydraulics is located in the Faculty of Environmental Engineering 3rd floor (315 aud.) The Department of Hydraulics - teaching and research work carried out by nine employees: professors - V. Šaulys and A. Česnulevičius, associate professors - L. Bagdžiūnaitė-Litvinaitienė O. Barvidienė, R. Stankevičienė, A. Litvinaitis, lecturers - G. Sabas and M. Stankevich and assistant - M. Staškūnienė. The Department of Hydraulics staff - Professor V. Šaulys and A. Česnulevičius docents L. Bagdžiūnaitės-Litvinaitienė O. Barvidienė, R. Stankevičienė, and A. Litvinaitis scientific articles published in international journals, and prof. A. Česnulevičius of the International Cartographic Association (ICA) Commission on Theoretical Cartography since 2003.
The Department of Hydraulics wants that students are better able to known the theoretical fluid mechanics course, Hydraulics Training Laboratory with the assistance of the Head of the laboratory A. Krutkis, they perform laboratory work. Depending on the chosen specialty, made of 3th or 5th labs: Bernoulli's equation, path loss, loss of local, well-established and fluid through the fluid outlet openings and nozzles.
Reynolds apparatus students demonstrated laminar, uncertain and turbulent flow in the pipe, and the flow measuring device - other flow.
